Vanaf princiepen van contact improvisatie leren wij nieuwe impulsen te geven aan ons tango dansen. Door andere contactpunten met ons lichaam ontstaan nieuwe mogelijkheden tango nog meer te improviseren. Ons dans wordt vrijer, opener en nog creatiever. We kunnen Contact Tango met z’n tweeën, drieën en ook met de hele groep samen dansen. Pure exploratie en vrijheid!

We will start new courses on Mondays and Tuesdays at the Academia de Tango from 14th of November till the end of December. We will teach level 1, 2 and 3, and two special intermediate / advance courses: Tango Nuevo course and special course about the four main tango elements, Sacadas, Boleos, Ganchos & Giros. So you are very much welcome to learn Traditional Tango and Neo-Tango with us!

Tango Nuevo
You will learn the Neo-Tango quality by using alternative playful combinations and how to improvise with them. Ezequiel & Lydia will work in the creativity, new fun possibilities, the musicality, the style, the way of moving, the walking and much more. These can be immediately applied in the Neo-Tango salons but it also can enrich your traditional tango style and transform the way you dance in general. After the class Dj Eze will play some Neo-music, so you can practice a bit more.

This course is ideal for traditional tango dancers who wishes to learn Tango Nuevo and for people who are dancing Neo tango already and wish to deepen in this style. More information

The Big Four: Ganchos, Sacadas, Voleos & Giros 
In this course you will learn how to combine the four most useful element in tango dance: Ganchos, Sacadas, Boleos and Giros. You will learn how to lead them correctly, how to understand the lead of your partner and in which way you can switch from one to the other during your dance improvisation. You will increase your dance flow, enrich your possibilities and be able to dance with more creativity, fun and virtuosity!

Do you want to learn how to dance tango out of axis? We are very excited to teach a full 8 weeks course of COLGADAS & VOLCADAS!!! A very useful dance material for Neo and Traditional Tango. Trusting, experimenting, turning, having fun!

By following this course you could have a nice progressive work on this subject. We will start with simple exercises to feel each other’s weight, your balance and to trust your partner. Then you will learn simple but very useful colgadas & volcadas. During the course we will increase the level of complexity according to you own possibilities. After this 8 weeks you will be able to dance tango out of axis in very various ways with a lot of joy!

In deze cursus worden volcadas en colgadas geleerd: de kunst om buiten je eigen as te dansen. Je leert om vertrouwen met elkaar op te bouwen en je wordt bewust van je eigen balans en stabiliteit. Wij leren je om volcadas en colgadas te leiden en te volgen en zelfs mee te draaien. Ook leren we je hoe je dit in traditionele tango, wals en tango nuevo kunt toepassen. Een spannende cursus waarin je meer leert over hoe je buiten je as kunt dansen!
